The Montgat Maritime Club begins a new stage with the incorporation of the Escola de Mar Surfindeed, Surfeja l’Ona, which will develop its activity in the club’s facilities, located on the Espigó de Montgat beach.The new school was born with the desire to bring water sports closer to all citizens, offering a wide range of training programs, activities and rental services for people of all ages and levels of experience.
The offer includes disciplines such as dinghy sailing, catamaran, monohull (school boat), Catalan skate, kitesurfing, wingfoil, paddle surfing, XXL paddle surfing, surfing, bodyboarding, kayaking and open water swimming. In addition, the courses have the endorsement of the Catalan Sailing Federation, guaranteeing quality and safe training.
Beyond water sports, the Escola de Mar complements its offer with activities aimed at well-being and connection with the natural environment. Among these, Supioga —yoga on a paddle surf board in the sea—, yoga sessions on the beach, meditations at dawn and dusk, and conscious breathing workshops stand out.
All these activities are part of the philosophy of Blue Health, which promotes the physical and emotional benefits of contact with the sea, integrating body, mind and nature in a unique experience on the Montgat coast.
